This coming Friday we will bring our class on the 40 hadith to a close inshallah with a study of the final hadith of the collection.

Brothers and sisters are both welcome to attend.

Hadith #42

Anas ibn Malik narrates that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said:

“Allah the Almighty has said: ‘O Son of Adam, as long as you invoke Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind.

“O Son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and you then asked forgiveness from Me, I would forgive you.

“O Son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the Earth, and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it [too].’”

The format of our class will be to formally study the hadith for around 30 minutes, basing the study on classical works of Islamic scholarship, and then follow it up by another 20 minutes of open discussion amongst the attendees.

Location details: The class takes place on the second floor of the masjid in the attic room next to the women’s prayer hall.

Enter the main hall and take the stairs on the right of the hall up. Then at the first floor take an immediate left and walk behind the curtain and up the stairs behind the food counter. Our room is through the doorway and then to the left
