Finally we have snowfall in Switzerland so its time to put on our hiking shoes and go up into the mountains!

On Sunday 24 January we will be going for a gentle roundtrip panoramic hike in the Braunwald area in Canton Glarus, inshallah.

Programme

08:25 – meet under the Blue Angel at Zurich HB
08:35 – move to the platform
08:43 – 10:14 – pl.6 train to Linthal
10:25 – 10:32 Funicular up to Braunwald

10:45 – 15:00 hike (including time for lunch, salaah and photos)

15:25 return journey to Zurich HB

What to bring

• Warm clothes – we will be in the snow!
• Sunglasses – above the clouds it can become very bright!
• Food – Lunch, snacks and drinks
• Sturdy hiking shoes or snow hiking shoes – very important!
• You may also find it useful to bring a ski pole or spikes for your hiking shoes
• A smile!
