This Sunday join us for a memorable and scenic hike in the south of Canton Schwyz. We will make the demanding ascent from Stoos to Fronalpstock in the first part (approx. 660m) of the hike and then walk along the almost flat mountain ridge towards Klingenstock. All the while we will take in the beautiful sights of the Lake Luzern region below.

Programme

07:55 meet under the Blue Angel at Zurich HB
08:09 pl. 7 train to Arth-Goldau
08:53 switch to pl. 5 for train to Brunnen
09:14 bus 4, to Morschach, Luftseilbahn

The hike is just less than 5 hours long. At the beginning the weather will be warm, but as we ascend to the top the temperature will drop by 10 degrees! We will take our time going up and also stop for lunch and photos.

What to bring

• Lunch
• Water
• Sturdy shoes
• Walking sticks if you need them
• A hat to protect from the sun
• sunglasses
• suncream
• light jumper may be required as we hike the ridge

Please note that we will be ascending from Morschach to Stoos by Luftseilbahn, and descending from Klingenstock to Stoos by Skilift. This will incur extra costs.
