We continue our weekly class by completing hadith #35 from the famous collection of Imam an-Nawawi. We will meet up at 19:00 to pray isha after which the class will begin, inshallah.

Brothers and sisters are both welcome.

Hadith #35

Abu Huraira narrates that the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said:

“Do not envy one another; do not inflate prices one to another; do not hate one another; do not turn away from one another and do not undercut one another, but be you O servants of Allah, brothers.

“A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He neither oppresses him nor humiliates him nor looks down upon him. Piety is here – and he pointed to his chest three times. It is evil enough for a Muslim to hold his brother Muslim in contempt. All things of a Muslim are inviolable for another Muslim: his blood, his property and his honour.”

The format of our class will be to formally study the hadith for around 30 minutes, basing the study on classical works of Islamic scholarship, and then follow it up by another 20 minutes of open discussion amongst the attendees.
